DELICIOUS vegan Profiterole


Milk and egg-free, 3 (!) ingredient vegan Profiterole





 I realllllly LOVE this recipe!!!! Soooooo simple, made with ONLY 3 ingredients!
Time? Max 20-25 min!!! (plus a bit for cooling)



Ingredients:

* 1 package (1 sheet) vegan puff pastry
* 300 ml WHIP-ABLE! plant-based whipped cream (for lighter cream choose rice, for fatter, creamier one - use soy! I tired both (Soyatoo whipped cream))
* 1-2 bars of dark (milk free) chocolate



The MAGIC:

1.       Take out the dough from the freezer, wait a bit until it's de-frozen/thawed so that it's manageable.
2.       Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.
3.       Use a glass to make circles of app. 6-7 cm in diameter and put the small circles on an aluminium foil in the oven. OR if you are NOT going for the aesthetic look, just cut the puff pastry sheet into small rectangles and put them onto the foil and in the oven.
4.       Bake them for app. 10-15 minutes until they become LIGHT brown and rise!
5.       Meanwhile whip the cream (follow the instructions on the package) AND melt the chocolate (CAREFUL not to overheat, just for 1 or 2 min, otherwise the chocolate becomes weird).
6.       Take out the circle (or rectangle) ”donuts” from the oven, let them cool for 1-2 min.
7.       When the “donuts” are cool, cut them in HALF horizontally and fill with whipped cream in between the two halves using a spoon (generously, I advise :) )
8.       Mix the remaining cream with the melted chocolate and pour the whole thing over the profiterole. (If the chocolate is too thick just add some water or plant milk to it, to make it a bit runnier, if you have no more cream left - NO PROBLEM, just pour the chocolate on without mixing!)
9.       TADAAAA! You’ve done it! Stack them up on a plate and put them in the fridge to let the chocolate solidify a bit, and that’s it! Enjoy!


(We live in Lithuania so this product is from there, but all you need is a simple puff pastry, with no butter :) )
