We are Anna (Hungarian) and Lukas (Lithuanian) - a couple currently living happily in Lithuania. This blog is our way of sharing how we manage to survive in today's society and make the most out of our urban setting.
Lukas:
I am a passionate naturalist, vegan, journalist, researcher and machine nut at heart.
I was born in Lithuania and grew up on a small family farm later studied in Denmark.
I work as a PhD in Lithuania now, researching biomass waste utilization via byproduct synthesis (aka. how to make foam, glue and insulation from poop :) ).
I have an MSc in Thermal Energy and Process Engineering.
My aim is to contribute towards a future, where sustainable bio materials rightfully play the leading role in global supply chains.
Besides that I am also involved in projects dealing with saving the world via effective gamification and altruism.
Anna:
I am a sensitive, compassionate, vegan activist, technical designer, entrepreneur and coach who like to get her hands dirty with work.
Lukas's family owns a small farm, by helping there on the weekends in the last year and a half I slowly gaining a solid understanding how farms are operate.
However I enjoy to volunteer on a Farm Sanctuary here in Lithuania, called "Trys Parseliai" ("Three little pigs").
I graduated as an Architectural Technologist and Construction Manager and worked as a Project Manager in London and Brussels. I also took an Education in Coaching and Entrepreneurial studies. Currently I design Escape Rooms, build them if needed, and I organize vegan cooking classes.
I am also holding speeches and workshops on veganism, sustainable living, career coaching and social entrepreneurship.
And as an Investor, I am constantly looking for great, green project to invest to! ;)
