Garlic Knots - crunchy and magnificent
Wonderful and super easy recipe...
I love garlic, love herbs, love crunchy dough...
Perfect snack or "bread" for soups :)
The idea taken from the same vegan recipe book: Chloe's Kitchen
Time
20-30 min
Ingredients
1 sheet of pizza dough (made by you or bought)
4-5 cloves of garlic
oil
fresh herbs (or dried)
1 teasp. salt, and pepper
baking paper
The magic
1. Cut the pizza dough into stripes
2. Make a knot from each (you can strech them a bit to make it easier to do the knot, it can be a bit tricky :) but dont worry, you can start to make different shapes, I make a bow, and twisted stripes as well :D)
3. Put the in the oven on baking paper around 200-220 degrees until its golden brown (put a bit of oil on the top),
4. Meanwhile make an herby- garlicy-oil-bath in a bowl from 4-5 garlic cloves (crash them), fresh parsley or basil (cut them), salt, pepper, and oil of course.
5. Then take out the knots from the oven, let them cool for a minute
6. Then toss them around in the bowl until they get covered.
And DONE
Easy peasy! Crunchy and magnificent. :) Yam yam
